Vendues par lot de 2, les chaises Arsène associent trois matières : un dossier en cannage tressé cerclé de bois, une assise en cuir vert profond travaillée en fines cannelures, et un piètement fin en métal doré qui remonte du sol jusqu'au dossier. C'est ce doré qui donne son allure à la chaise : il éclaire le vert du cuir et le blond du cannage.
L'assise en cuir est légèrement rembourrée. Le cuir se patine au fil des années et fonce légèrement ; un baume spécial cuir, une à deux fois par an, entretient sa souplesse. Derrière, le cannage laisse passer la lumière.
L'inspiration de notre expert déco : le doré et le vert profond ressortent sur un bois foncé, comme le plateau de la table ronde Liwa en finition noyer. Autour, gardez le mur clair et le sol en bois blond : le contraste fait le reste. Full-grain buffalo leather: the uppermost layer of the hide, neither sanded nor corrected. The densest and most durable, it retains its original grain.
Firm at first, it softens with use and conforms to the shape of the body.
The earthy, musky smell typical of buffalo leather is a guarantee of authenticity: it fades within a few weeks; allow the product to air out.
It develops a patina and darkens slightly; scratches and signs of use are part of the material and do not affect its durability.

Clean the leather with a soft cloth and apply a specific nourishing conditioner every six months. For the cane, dust regularly and lightly moisten from time to time to prevent it from drying out or breaking.
