Tables
A designer table structures a room as much as it serves everyday needs. Our selection includes dining and kitchen tables, bar tables for an elevated dining area and garden tables for the terrace. Round, square, rectangular, oval or organic, in solid wood, veneer, marble or metal, each model stands out through its shape, material and capacity, helping you find the table that suits your space.
Designer tables: which styles and materials should you choose?
Wood dominates our selection: mango wood for the Maya and Alix, solid acacia for the June and Gia, elm for the Albane, recycled teak for the Mémo and Marie, and solid rubberwood for the Aladin and Merlin. Veneers offer a different finish, with walnut on the Aya and oak on the Paula and Izzi. For a mineral touch, the Agathe combines white marble with mango wood. Metal features on the Moorea, which pairs it with wood, and on the Yumi garden tables. Light wood and simple lines suit a Scandinavian interior, a mix of wood and metal creates an industrial feel, while a plain tabletop, such as that of the Lydia in off-white lacquered MDF, complements a contemporary setting. Some models, such as the Oman and Eddy, are also available in an extendable version.
How do you choose a table that suits your interior?
Start by considering how the table will be used: everyday meals, occasional large gatherings, a dining area in the kitchen or a terrace. Then measure the available space, taking into account pulled-out chairs and room to move around the table, and compare it with the dimensions given on each product page. For example, the square Julio table measures 90 x 90 cm and seats 4, the rectangular Oman table measures 150 x 90 cm and seats 6, while the Tanah measures 240 x 100 cm and seats 10. Shape also matters: a round or oval table has no protruding corners in walkways, while a rectangular table follows the length of a room. Finally, consider how it balances with the rest of your furniture: a dark tabletop complements a sideboard or chairs in a similar shade, while light wood helps make an already busy room feel lighter.
Which tables are best for the different areas of the home?
In the dining room, dining tables are perfect for everyday meals and dinners with friends. In the living room, coffee tables sit in front of the sofa for coffee, books or drinks. For an elevated dining area against a wall or in an open-plan kitchen, bar tables offer a higher tabletop: the Buvette bar table, for example, measures 120 x 45 cm and is 91.5 cm high. Outdoors, garden tables include folding metal models such as the Yumi, as well as large teak tables such as the Siam or Luma, which seats 10.
