Round table for 4, solid rubberwood, walnut veneer, D120 cm

The Izzi table seats four around a 120 cm round tabletop: walnut veneer, with its grain running across the entire surface, on a 20 mm-thick solid rubberwood top. The legs and frame are also made of solid rubberwood.

Rubberwood comes from latex trees, harvested on plantations after 25 to 30 years of production: a resource that is put to good use rather than wasted. Since each plank retains its own nuances, no two tables are ever identical.

A varnish protects the tabletop: wipe up spills promptly with a soft cloth, and place a coaster under a glass or cup left standing for a while. With no corners, the round tabletop is easy to walk around in a busy room.

Our décor expert's inspiration: around the tabletop, the dark rubberwood Hawa chairs stay within the same colour palette. Above, the light weave of the Jipi pendant light creates a striking contrast with the dark tabletop. On the floor, a jute rug. The Izzi table is also available with light oak veneer.

For the solid rubberwood top with walnut veneer and nitrocellulose-varnished base, clean after use with a well-wrung soft sponge, lukewarm water and a little mild dish soap, then wipe with a clean, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately to prevent marks or moisture on the veneer; use trivets and avoid solvents, alcohol, abrasives, wax, placing hot dishes directly on the surface, direct sunlight and proximity to heat sources.
