Description
Description
Two metres long and one metre wide, the Asma table seats six around a 25 mm-thick tabletop made from naturally stained oak veneer on a solid rubberwood panel. The oak features pronounced grain and blonde hues beneath a protective varnish.
The crossbars are made from solid rubberwood, the wood of the latex tree harvested on plantations after 25 to 30 years of sap production: a resource put to good use rather than wasted. The base, made from oak-veneered plywood, matches the colour of the tabletop.
The 100 cm width leaves room for a table runner, serving dishes and plates. At 74 cm high, it pairs well with chairs having 45 to 47 cm-high seats. Wipe up spills promptly with a soft cloth, and place a coaster under a cup if it is left there for a while.
Our interior designer's inspiration: around the tabletop, Noah chairs in fir-green fabric with black metal legs add a rich colour against the oak's blonde tones. Above, two Mirabel pendants in natural bamboo are aligned along the table's length. The Asma table is also available in dark-stained walnut.
Color note: the actual shade may vary slightly depending on screen settings, photo lighting, and the natural variations of the materials.

For the solid rubberwood top with oak veneer and the nitrocellulose-lacquered base, clean after use with a well-wrung soft sponge, lukewarm water and a little mild dish soap, then wipe with a clean, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately to prevent rings or moisture from affecting the veneer; use trivets and avoid solvents, alcohol, abrasive products, wax, placing hot dishes directly on the surface, direct sunlight and proximity to heat sources.
