Set of 2 76 cm bar stools in cane and green leather

Sold in sets of 2, the Arsène bar chairs combine cane and leather around the bar. With a seat height of 76 cm, they fit in front of a bar or worktop measuring 105 to 110 cm high. The light, airy woven cane pairs with deep green buffalo leather on a slim black metal frame.

Buffalo leather is a natural leather: its pronounced grain is visible on the surface, and its colour darkens as it develops a patina. Firm at first, it gradually softens; applying a special leather balm once or twice a year helps maintain its suppleness.

Our interior expert's inspiration: a light oak worktop highlights the woven cane, while two rattan pendant lights above the bar soften the light. Full-grain buffalo leather: the upper layer of the hide, neither sanded nor corrected. The densest and most durable, it retains its original grain.
Firm at first, it softens with use and conforms to the shape of the body.
An earthy, musky smell typical of buffalo, a sign of authenticity: it fades within a few weeks; allow the product to air out.
It develops a patina and darkens slightly; scratches and signs of use are part of the material and do not affect its strength.
To choose the right seat height, remember that the space between the seat and the table should be approximately 25–30 cm.

Dust the leather with a soft, dry cloth or a fine-bristled brush, following the direction of the grain. Clean marks with a barely damp cloth, then dry immediately. Do not use any chemicals, solvents, alcohol or stain removers. Once or twice a year, apply a special leather polish or balm to nourish it. Avoid direct sunlight and proximity to heat sources.
Dust natural cane with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner fitted with a brush attachment. Two or three times a year, wipe the underside of the cane with a barely damp sponge to prevent it from drying out, then leave it to air-dry: it cannot withstand prolonged moisture or heavy loads placed on it.
For the metal, a damp cloth followed by a dry wipe is sufficient.
