Unsure about the seat height?
There are two types of bar stools: those designed for kitchen islands and those suited to bar tables, which are generally taller.
To make the right choice, start by measuring the height of your table:
- If your island is between 87 and 100 cm high, choose a seat height between 62 and 70 cm.
- If your high table or bar is between 96 and 110 cm high, opt for a seat height between 71 and 80 cm.
For optimal comfort, allow approximately 25 to 30 cm between the seat and the underside of the tabletop.

In case of a stain, immediately absorb the excess without rubbing. Then dab with a clean cloth soaked in lukewarm water and a little mild soap (liquid Marseille soap), working from the outside in. Rinse with a slightly damp cloth. Allow to air-dry, then gently brush while dry to restore volume to the fibres.
Avoid harsh stain removers, alcohol, bleach, excess water, and any heat source for drying — as well as steam cleaners or spray-extraction machines, which may permanently damage the velvet fibres.
In case of scratching or crushed fibres, hold a steam iron approximately 10–15 cm from the fabric, without direct contact, then gently brush in the direction of the pile. The fibres will naturally regain their volume.
