Le lot de 2 chaises Tamara marie trois matières : une assise et un dossier en rotin, un coussin en tissu vert olive, portés par une structure en métal. Le rotin est la liane d'un palmier des forêts tropicales d'Asie du Sud-Est : pleine et souple, elle se courbe à la vapeur autour d'un moule et garde sa forme, d'où ce dossier arrondi. Deux à trois fois plus légère qu'un bois massif équivalent, cette fibre se déplace d'une main, et la finition vernie laisse voir son grain tout en la protégeant.

Le coussin en coton et polyester se déhousse pour le lavage. À 46 cm du sol, l'assise s'accorde aux tables de 74 à 78 cm de haut ; large de 44,5 cm et profonde de 40 cm, elle tient les proportions standard d'une chaise de repas, dans une silhouette compacte au sol.

L'inspiration de notre expert déco : autour d'une table en bois foncé, le vert olive répond au rotin naturel, avec des céramiques terracotta et une nappe en lin écru. La collection Tamara existe aussi en beige, en noir et en orange vermillon, et en chaises de bar vert olive ou orange vermillon, pour assortir la table et l'îlot.

Dust the rattan with a soft brush, then clean it with a barely damp cloth and dry it immediately to avoid damaging its nitrocellulose finish; avoid alcohol-based products, solvents, abrasives, and prolonged exposure to sunlight or humidity. The cushion cover can be machine washed at 30 °C on a delicate cycle with a moderate spin, then air-dried; avoid bleach and tumble drying, which may cause the fabric to fade or shrink.
