Set of 2 76 cm bar stools in green cane and leather

Sold as a pair, the Léandre bar stools combine a light, airy woven cane backrest with a deep green buffalo leather seat, all supported by a black metal Z-shaped sled base that seems to make the seat float without rear legs. Beneath this cantilevered design, the base rests on two long runners spanning the entire depth of the seat: the weight is distributed across these supports, keeping the stool firmly planted on the floor, up to 100 kg. With a seat height of 76 cm, they are designed for a bar or counter measuring 100 to 105 cm, and their lower bar serves as a footrest.

Buffalo leather is a natural leather with a pronounced grain and deep green nuances: firm at first, it gradually softens and develops a patina over the years. Like all natural leather, it does not like to remain wet: wipe away any drops without delay, and nourish it with a balm once or twice a year. The cane adds lightness and a regular pattern that contrasts with the leather.

Our interior designer’s tip: place them at a dark wood or stainless-steel counter for a home bar feel; the green leather and light woven cane soften the graphic lines of the black metal.

Full-grain buffalo leather: the top layer of the hide, neither sanded nor corrected. The densest and most durable, it retains its original grain.
Firm at first, it softens with use and moulds to the shape of the body.
The earthy, musky smell typical of buffalo leather is a guarantee of authenticity: it fades within a few weeks; allow the product to air out.
It develops a patina and darkens slightly; scratches and signs of use are part of the material and do not affect its strength.
To choose the right seat height, bear in mind that the space between the seat and the table should be approximately 25–30 cm.

Dust the leather with a soft, dry cloth or a fine-bristled brush, following the direction of the grain. Clean marks with a barely damp cloth, then dry immediately. Do not use any chemicals, solvents, alcohol or stain removers. Once or twice a year, apply a special leather polish or balm to nourish it. Avoid direct sunlight and proximity to a heat source.
Dust natural cane with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment. Two or three times a year, wipe the underside of the cane with a barely damp sponge to prevent it from drying out, then leave it to air-dry: it cannot withstand prolonged moisture or heavy loads placed on it.
For metal, a damp cloth followed by a dry wipe is sufficient.
