La table Apoline reprend certains codes du mobilier seventies : des courbes généreuses, un plateau rond de 80 cm et un blanc cassé laqué brillant qui capte la lumière.
Trois couches de laque successives lui donnent une finition profonde, lisse et résistante. L'eau, le vin ou les traces d'un apéritif glissent sur la laque sans la pénétrer, et un linge doux suffit à les retirer. Les petites marques du quotidien se fondent dans la profondeur du brillant et restent discrètes. Quelques dessous de verre ou sets suffisent à préserver son éclat d'origine année après année.
Tout en rondeur, sans aucun angle, elle se contourne en toute sérénité. Au centre du salon, la laque blanc cassé crée un contraste lumineux avec un canapé en velours ocre, terre de Sienne ou écru. Quelques livres d'art colorés, une céramique mate aux formes organiques ou un vide-poche en verre fumé compléteront cette inspiration seventies.
