Unsure about the seat height?
There are two types of bar stools: those designed for kitchen islands and those suited to bar tables, which are generally taller.
To make the right choice, start by measuring the height of your table:
- If your island is between 87 and 100 cm high, choose a seat height between 62 and 70 cm.
- If your high table or bar is between 96 and 110 cm high, opt for a seat height between 71 and 80 cm.
For optimal comfort, allow approximately 25 to 30 cm between the seat and the underside of the tabletop.

Le lot de 2 chaises Tamara pour îlot central associe une assise et un dossier en rotin, un coussin en tissu orange vermillon et une structure en métal.
Liane d'Asie du Sud-Est, le rotin se courbe à la vapeur et garde sa forme : d'où ce dossier arrondi. Avec 66 cm de hauteur d'assise, ces chaises conviennent aux îlots et plans de 91 à 96 cm : l'espace recommandé pour les jambes est de 25 à 30 cm sous le plan. Sur 42 × 40 cm, la mousse de 20 kg/m³ donne un rembourrage souple, plus moelleux que ferme, et la housse du coussin passe en machine.
L'inspiration de notre expert déco : sur un îlot en bois clair, le orange vermillon réchauffe le rotin naturel, avec des céramiques écrues. Tamara existe aussi en orange vermillon et vert olive, en chaises de bar comme à hauteur de table.

Good to know: the cushion cover is removable and machine washable at 30 °C on a delicate cycle, preferably inside out — please refer to the care label. A real advantage for keeping the seat looking clean every day; air-dry without using a tumble dryer. For the rattan and metal, dust with a dry microfiber cloth; if there is a mark, wipe with a barely damp cloth and dry immediately, without soaking the rattan. Avoid prolonged moisture, solvents and direct exposure to sunlight.
