Le tabouret Marcelle vient d'une petite usine de l'île de Java, en Indonésie : une assise en cannage de rotin sur des pieds fuselés en teck.
Le teck est un bois dur d'Asie du Sud-Est, riche en huiles naturelles qui le protègent de l'humidité et des insectes. Il travaille très peu au fil des saisons. Un vernis transparent protège le bois et sa teinte miel.
À 42,5 cm du sol, l'assise se tient un cran plus bas qu'une chaise de repas : repose-pieds devant un fauteuil ou petit siège d'appoint. Elle mesure 38 x 37 cm et la structure supporte 100 kg.
L'inspiration de notre expert déco : près d'un fauteuil en velours ocre, le tressage clair s'accorde à un tapis berbère et à des accessoires en céramique mate.
