Description
The Selma console features a dark brown, oval 2.5 cm-thick solid mango wood top, set on two curved brushed metal legs that seem to raise it barely off the floor. The dark mango wood reveals deep, contrasting grain patterns, unique to each piece; hard and dense, it withstands everyday knocks and is harvested from fruit-growing trees, without deforestation. The brushed metal catches the light without dazzling and creates a lovely contrast with the warmth of the wood.
Slim (40 cm deep) and 81 cm high, the Selma console sits neatly against a wall without obstructing passage: in the hallway, it holds keys, mail and a lamp; behind a sofa, it displays a few decorative objects and a light source. At Maison Pavane, the Selma collection also includes a coffee table and a bedside table.
Our interior design expert’s tip: hang a large mirror above it to make the hallway feel bigger, leave a lamp switched on for evening arrivals and add a tall bouquet of dried flowers in a graphic vase. It is often the first thing you see when you come home—so it might as well make you smile.

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. In case of spills, wipe immediately with a slightly damp cloth, then dry at once.
Treat the wood twice a year with an oil suitable for solid wood.
Avoid direct sunlight and placing the item near a heat source, as these may discolour or crack the wood.
For brushed metal parts, a soft, dry cloth is sufficient : avoid abrasive products and scouring sponges.
