Follow these steps
Assemble the furniture
To do this, follow the detailed steps in the instructions included in the box.
Identify the areas to drill
Start by determining where to position your mixer tap. To do this, carefully place the washbasin on the cabinet to project the desired location. We recommend positioning the mixer tap at the back of the washbasin, 5 cm from the back of the cabinet. The mixer tap can be positioned wherever you prefer along the washbasin; the important thing is that it is centred in depth. Mark the location with a pencil.
Install and secure the washbasin
Position the washbasin in the designated location. Small wedges integrated into the cabinet are provided to help position and hold the washbasin in place.
Using a transparent silicone sealant gun, apply a seal between the washbasin and the wood in an even, continuous bead. The seal will protect your cabinet by preventing water from seeping in. Use a damp finger or a suitable tool to smooth the seal and ensure good adhesion.
In general, the silicone begins to set after 15 to 30 minutes. During this time, avoid any contact with the washbasin or the seal.
After 2 to 4 hours, the silicone is sufficiently dry to withstand light handling, but it remains fragile. You can carefully check the alignment of the washbasin, but do not press on it.
For optimal strength and watertightness, wait 24 hours before using the washbasin or testing its fixation more firmly.
Secure the furniture
Secure the unit to the wall as explained in the instructions. This step is highly recommended as it prevents any risk of the unit tipping over.
All that remains is to install your taps, then connect the water inlets and outlets.
Let's check together
Once the unit has been installed, take a moment to check everything.
- The basin is fixed and securely attached to the unit.
- The unit is stable and does not move.
- The joints should be smooth, even and evenly distributed all around the basin
- The recommended drying time for the joints has been observed
