Produce and act responsibly
Reproduce, rather than overproduce
We work hand in hand with our partners to produce according to your needs and thus avoid overproduction. Reducing waste in all its forms is in our DNA; we prefer to reproduce rather than overproduce.
Sometimes, a product becomes a success we were not prepared for. We are obviously delighted, but above all, we get on our phones to restock it as quickly as possible (and, like you, we arm ourselves with patience until the next delivery!).
Our commitment
We don’t claim to revolutionize the world, but we’re simply trying to do a little better every day. Our furniture tells a story of respect—respect for wood, artisans, and the environment. Together with our artisans and factories, we learn and grow together. No grand promises, just moving forward step by step.
We work with different types of wood: solid, recycled, and FLEGT-, PEFC-, or FSC-certified.
Our criteria? Quality, durability, and the desire to improve day after day.
Sometimes, we give a second life to wood that already has a story: a beam from an old house, a plank from a boat hull. Each piece of furniture then retains a little of its history.
Our ambition? To make beautiful, well-crafted furniture that respects the planet and our artisans.
Refurbish, repair
Since 2023, we have set up a refurbishment workshop to give a second chance to unused products returned by our customers. Each item is rigorously checked and subjected to our strict quality controls before being put back on sale. Previously, these products were either resold to clearance retailers, donated, or sometimes even discarded. Within a few months, we increased the proportion of returned packages put back on sale from 20% to 70%, and our goal is to reach 90% by 2025. Despite all the care we put into the packaging and quality of our products, a part may occasionally be missing or deteriorate over time. We have built up a stock of spare parts that enables us to repair our products and extend their lifespan. We take great pride in supporting you in the event of a defect by providing all the assistance you need. Our customer satisfaction team will always be there to provide you with personalised support.
Giving back through solidarity initiatives
We have humbly supported Les enfants du Mékong for over 10 years through donations and child sponsorships. This organization is particularly close to our hearts, as Pierre, our founder, is of Vietnamese origin. Every year, we support a specific project. For example, in 2023 in Cambodia, we helped fund the construction of a classroom, enabling 70 undocumented children to learn to read and write.
We support and work alongside the Fondation AJD Maurice Gounon. The foundation has become a cornerstone of our circular approach, giving damaged products a new lease on life through the work of employees in reintegration programs (carpenters, logistics staff, etc.). Our products are repaired and then sold by the association, helping to provide funding for the organization.
We met Jules Rey, creator of Bouchamiel, a young beekeeper from our region. Talking with him, we realized just how essential bees are, and his passion touched us. We did not hesitate to support him and his work. Today, we modestly help him each year by funding a beehive. It’s a small, simple and sincere gesture to protect bees , which are at the heart of our ecosystem.
