Discover the Maison Pavane velvet design armchair collection
Velvet, that soft, timeless, ever-fashionable material, will fit perfectly into your home. A velvet armchair brings a cocooning touch to any room, gives your living room or bedroom character, and makes your home feel warmer. In our selection, or in collections such as Art Deco, you'll have the choice between chic, refined models: blue, green, yellow, beige, grey, orange or burgundy, from buttoned designs with gold legs to contemporary swivel armchairs. Is your décor bright and colourful and you'd like to match your seating? Complete your armchair with velvet sofas or velvet chairs in the same range of tones. Whether you love classic colours or bolder ones, you'll find the velvet armchair that's right for you. Dare to bring velvet into your décor!
How do you clean and care for a velvet armchair?
A velvet armchair is beautiful, but it's also a fabric that can stain easily. Start by brushing your velvet armchair regularly to remove dust, or give it a quick vacuum. Always use a soft brush so as not to damage the velvet.
To remove a stain, you can do a wet clean with soapy water and white vinegar, being careful not to soak the fabric. Rinse with clean water and leave to air dry.
If your velvet armchair only has small surface stains, opt for dry cleaning: sprinkle the velvet with talcum powder or fuller's earth, leave overnight, then vacuum up the remaining powder. Nothing could be simpler!
